Fickle bodied ???

It sometimes amazes me how unwise I am. Or is it equally difficult for everyone ? You spend more than 17 initial years of your life preparing for something with single motive of earning money and then one day, it doesn't matter anymore. Suddenly a strange feeling of satisfying your creative self takes over and it doesn't matter how much you are earning thereafter. Even though you know that its money instead of this stupid feeling that will fetch you food when you are hungry in the end.

Your sanity speaks to stick to something that brings in more money but for how long will you be able to suppress that feeling within. You understand the power of money, the way it can bring you down on your knees, the way it can break your spine but its satisfaction that matters after all, isn't it. Whom should I listen to, the mind which speaks the language of money or the heart which yearns for satisfaction of self. Its time I devise a middle path or you tell me if you have dreaded along the same lines before.

The tussle inside,
its tearing me apart.
Maybe I don't know,
what to do
Maybe I try so hard.

I know the feeling so well!! I compromised a bit..going for money and "brand name" initially..but look at me now! Not a very well known organization, good work and good money..For once I can say "I love my job" without flinching:D

Look for a combo like that..money plus work..am sure you'll find something:-)
* I could gove a long lecture on this topic..but naaaah am sure you don't want that. Cliched phrase, but you're the best judge. What some random/not-so-random person says will not make a difference!

If I go philosohpical, I will say follow your heart, much like some Robin Sharma who sells Ferrarais, Shiv Khera who tells you to think free, or even Sharukh Khan who fools hundred innocent Ranis and Prritys to fall in the stupid trap of love, but I am not one of them.

But, I know your problem just like mine, its not money and money alone, we are fucking pendulums swinging between these fucking two ends. I think Neha gave you briefest possible answer.

My take stop thinking, thats the root of fucking all evils, we cant be great so at least try to be lesser mortals, lets not screw on that also.

Crazy: I am happy for you that you found the job you wanted. I too will start looking for something like that, a good job or say, a job of my liking, raise may not be more but should be enough to sustain myself, with all luxuries ofcourse :P

And how dare you used the word random, you know you aren't one...

Saari luxuries milengi pappe don't you worry. And even if that doesn't happen, MAIN HOON NA:D *moronic laughter*
As for the random bit, I wasn't referring to myself per se. What I meant was that others opinions will not and should not matter to you. Am definitely not random:-) *some more hahahaha*

Aisi feeling aati hai to case gone ho jata hai. Don't let it overpower you. Find a creative vent...

hello ji
main aa gayi wapas!!
and this dilemma..well what can i say..i guess at some level we have all been faced by this choice..as far as i see it..we earn money for satisfaction but if that is lacking in our lives then all the money in the world wouldn't mean a thing

but that is my opinion..it is for u and u alone to find the right balance
